Celebrating a Milestone: My 100th Blog Post on WordPress
Can you believe it? I’m actually here, about to write my 100th blog post for Messymom! It’s like a rollercoaster of emotions—excitement, gratitude, and a deep sense of accomplishment.
This is the 100th blog post and I feel like I remember every single one as if I wrote it yesterday, but I’d never for a second have assumed I have written so many!
Embracing the Blogging Adventure: From Fear to Family
Three years back, my sister asked me to launch my blog. She was like a non-stop cheerleader, all pumped up about me starting a BLOG! But, for me, it was like Mission Impossible to conquer my fear of stepping into the blogging universe.
I mean, I was not a social media guru, so I was like, “BLOOOG? Are you kidding me?” 😅
For an entire month, I tip-toed around the idea, hesitating and wondering, “Can I really do this?”
Being a self-confessed non-social media person, the thought of blogging seemed as daunting as facing a fearsome dragon.
But hey, guess what? I finally threw caution to the wind and jumped right in and now, I’m happily blogging away, living the quirky blogger life!
Launching my Website on WordPress
Now again I was clueless as a fish out of water, tangled in the web of launching a Website. My brain was buzzing with doubts, and my thoughts were like a tornado of confusion.
But out of the blue, my son, my little genius, swooped in like a superhero, declaring, “Mamma, what’s the big deal? I got this! I’ll whip up a fabulous website for you and even grab that fancy domain name!” (He wasn’t vibing with my blog name; all he wanted was something cool and techie! 😁)
Who would’ve thought that my tech-savvy savior would come as my very own 11-year-old whiz-kid?
My heart swelled with pride as I watched my pint-sized tech wizard work his magic, turning my website dreams into a reality.
Who says kids can’t save the day? My son proved that when it comes to tackling the digital frontier, age is just a number!
Journey of Parenting Blog
Messy Mom – a humble tribute to the beautifully chaotic journey of parenthood. Little did I knew that this simple act of courage would set in motion an incredible series of events.
What started as a parenting blog gradually evolved into something much more profound… Along my blogging path, I delved into diverse topics like lifestyle, mental health issues, genuine book reviews, and everything in between.
It was like my blog grew with me, mirroring my evolution as a person.
My Bloggers Tribe
As I delved deeper into the blogging community, I stumbled upon something truly magical – The Power of Collaboration.
Love, support, and friendship came pouring in as I connected with fellow bloggers.
These newfound relationships blossomed into something beyond virtual acquaintances. They became my family, my blogging tribe.

Captivating World of Copywriting
While I was busy managing my blogging journey, I also began studying the art of copywriting.
After one year of dipping my toes into blogging, an unexpected avenue opened up for me – The Captivating World of Copywriting!
With newfound confidence, I decided to explore the realm of copywriting, and indeed, it was a game-changer!
From creating catchy product descriptions to crafting compelling sales pages, my copywriting journey took off like a rocket.
Today, I’m proud to say that I write copy for over 30 amazing clients. Each project brings its own unique challenges, but I tackle them with the same crazy passion that kick-started my blogging adventure.
Rollercoaster Journey
Messymom’s journey from a hesitant parent blogger to an open-minded curator of life’s quirks has taught me a valuable lesson – it’s okay to take risks and embrace the unknown. Sometimes, the most rewarding adventures begin with that daring first step.
So here’s to my sister, the ever-enthusiastic cheerleader, and to all the wonderful bloggers who turned strangers into family.
My blogging journey has been a whirlwind of emotions, from fear to fascination, from doubt to discovery, and from isolation to a sense of belonging, because of you all.

100th blog post? This surely calls for a toast! Personally, I started my lifestyle blog in 2006. God knows how but it has been 17 years of non-stop blogging. I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to come from you. I can’t wait to read your exciting blog posts!
