My Wishes for the Last Quarter of the Year

My Wishes for the Last Quarter of the Year

Ah, the last quarter of the year is upon us, and you know what that means – time for some wishes, but not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill wishes. I’m talking about extraordinary or funny wishes that make the end of the year truly unforgettable.

Let’s aim for a fun and lighthearted end to the year, filled with laughter, pleasant surprises, and maybe even some………….

Wish 1: A Time-Traveling Treadmill

Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a treadmill that not only helps you burn calories but also allows you to travel through time? With such a device, I could work on my fitness while revisiting past embarrassments armed with present-day wisdom. It’s an opportunity to rectify those awkward middle school moments.

I hope this jogs your memory of an awkward past moment! 🙃

Wish 2: The Ability to Hibernate

I’m sure all moms can relate to this wish of mine. You know that Bears really have figured out their hibernation trick. My wish is for the power to hibernate during the hectic holiday season. Imagine skipping the stress of shopping, cooking, and dealing with all the household chores – just snuggle up in a comfy blanket fort until it’s all over!

Wish 3: A Talking Pet

Have you ever pondered this? Forget about a parrot that just repeats what you say. I want a pet that can engage in deep conversations. Imagine discussing the meaning of life with your dog/cat while snuggled up on a cold winter’s night. “Whiskers, what do you think the meaning of purr-pose is?”

Wish 4: Instant Translation Earrings

Living abroad or traveling the world and experiencing new cultures is incredible, but language barriers can be a real buzzkill. So, I wish for earrings that instantly translate any language into my native tongue. No more awkward hand gestures and confused expressions!

Wish 5: A “Laughter Echo” Button

This wish popped into my head while watching folks laugh at the park (laughing club members). Laughter is like a happy bug, and I want to share it everywhere. I wish for a button that, when you push it, fills the air with laughter, making even the gloomiest times super cheerful. Because a dose of laughter can work wonders!

Wish 6: A Plant Whisperer Skill

Ever get the vibe that your houseplants are secretly plotting against you? I sure do, especially when they thrive in the nursery but not at my place. I wish for the ability to understand their planty thoughts. “Okay, Mr. Fern, I know you’re thirsty, but please don’t give me those withering looks!”

Wish 7: A Bottomless Bookshelf

My reading list is never-ending, so why not have a bookshelf that magically produces the books I want to read next? Plus, it could recommend books based on my mood. Need a laugh? Here’s a comedy. Feeling adventurous? Enjoy a thrilling adventure novel!

Wish 8: A Fireplace on Every Street Corner

Let’s bring back the cozy vibe of street-side roasted popcorn but with a twist. I wish for pop-up fireplaces on every street corner, where we can toast sweet potatoes, popcorn, or marshmallows and tell stories on crisp winter evenings.

Wish 9: A Time-Slowing Remote

Have you ever felt that time flies when you’re having fun? I always feel so. But what if we could slow it down a bit? My wish is for a remote control that lets us pause or slow down time during those cherished moments, allowing us to savor them just a little longer.

Wish 10: A Portable Cloud

I understand that not everyone will relate to this, but sometimes, Gulf blazing summers make me wish for a personal rain cloud. Imagine having your very own shade and occasional cool drizzles to beat the heat—a bit like having your customizable weather buddy right there with you!

“Last quarter’s wishes, a touch of the strange,
Turn the mundane into a delightful change!”

Wrap Up

Life can sometimes seem too serious and dull, which is why my wishes for the last part of the year are different. From yearning for a personal rain cloud to imagining a remote control to pause time during cherished moments, these wishes remind us that a touch of imagination and a sprinkle of humor can make life’s journey even more delightful.

After all, it’s those unique dreams that add color and joy to the tapestry of our lives, making the ordinary feel extraordinary. So, here’s to embracing the quirky and fanciful moments that make life truly special!

Cheers to a bright and promising year ahead!
